Warning: Retro-gaming may be a big disappointment since the fun memory of it overpowers the crappy graphics in your mind. I've had to re-uninstall many old titles because of this phenomenon. Now I just watch it on YouTube. lol

It really depends how you look at it. If you look at heavy customasible mx games my love for that only started with the online communities for Motocross Madness 2 (Msn game zone racing / Twisted dirt / mcmfactory / ...) That game was allround mind blowing to me in the early 2000's. Racing online getting skins and replica tracks was the shit back then. After that came a really long break on the mx online video game scene honestly, mainly talking PC gaming here. Untill eventually Mx vs Atv: Unleashed got ported to PC and released with a track editor. Getting bikes and skins for the game was a bit of an anoying process i think you needed notepad ++ to replace .pak files to get custom stuff to work but it was the 1st game since MCM2 that had somewhat of an online race community. I think later on a nice mod for that game got made by a dutch dude might have been called REV. Sadly then once again there was a really wrong break untill we started hearing about this mx simulator game .. i got a demo version somewhere around 2010 but hated it and disbanded any ideas about the game. Few years later i got back into it when an IRL friend gave me some settings so i would be able to ride and now i have over 100 of mxs videos on my yt and rode atleast a few motos in every big championship .. glad i came back to this game because it surely reminds me allot of how the mcm 2 stuff got run back in the day. It's actually a bit freaky how alike the communities are allthought there is almost 10+ years of a diffence between them. The older guys here will know what i mean

Remember when my dad played some games and I always loved to watch him. He played Motocross madness, need for speed hot pursuit, Colin Mcrae Rally 3, mtx mototrax other games too but can't remember. He always gave me to try racing and since I was 3-4 I could play alone without his help (but it doesn't mean that I was able to finish 1st )

That's how it should be. Doesn't matter who you are racing you push their face in the dirt. Letting them win builds false confidence and look at all these kids running around with "Participation Trophies". It's not right!

Monster Truck Madness 2 was sick, Some of the User Created content looked pretty awesome on 800x600.

Plus the track editor and model editor were so easy to use.

Pretty sure it's abandon-ware at this point, but it looks like there's still some content being made for, which is surprising for a game that's nearly 18 years old.

EA Sports Supercross 2000 - came out when I was at the tail end of High School and it was the only Dirt Bike game I even somewhat liked. Was fun enough and sound and model wise was decent. The rest (for me anyway) are pure crap - Mx vs. Atv games aren't that great. TOO EASY in the hardest difficulties and the ONLINE with consoles is horrid as the bashers and cheaters are ridiculous.

On the flipside this game from what I have seen has a realism too it that breaking out of old habbits to play a game are hard to break and getting the REAL riding attitude, as far as knowing what to do on a real bike to convert to the controller is a whole nother challenge in itself. Will be a heck of a fun time once I get the cobwebbs out from not being on a bike in a while and getting my hands to do what I know if my head....... Would be GREAT!!! LOL....

From Mtx mototrax I remember that I hated Master level, because Ezra Lusk and Chad Reed were fast and I got always trouble with them

haha I wouldnt even probaly get past beginner level if thats a thing some of these old pc games were hard I used to play a dirtbiking one forget the name, and I was like did they design this to be impossible to beat then I was like nah I just suck
