I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

played my friends lastnight on his ps3, and i have to say it was awesome.

the easiest way to describe it is gta4, but "old western" themed.
i decided to be evil, and just walked around cappin niggs in the teeth.
i thought the horse thing was pretty rad as well, named mine Rusty.

the only thing i didnt like was the tutorials and ridiculously long storyline cuts.

i have a ps2, and never play console video games, but this game made me want a ps3.
so when i go to my dads for sometime this summer, im definitely buying it. along with this game.

(and fifa10)

I haven't tried it online yet.

We should get all the Xbox guys together tonight and get some MXS gang up and running.

forgot to mention this.
i just watched my friend play online, and it seemed kinda boring. Maybe it was because it was so late, and the number of people online was pretty low. All you do is free roam, and start gunfights with random people.
the possie thing, i didnt see any, but like i said earlier that was probaly due to the time.

Just bought it today..I like it ,been through some missions...Riding the horses is really cool .seems realistic the way you control the horse...The dead eye thing is awsome just got to the point in the game where you can use it.
The graphics are awsome ,alot of detail....huge area to roam, I would be lost without a map.
another cool thing is you can go into towns and play poker in the saloon and bet or do the 5 finger stab thing that is really hard ..lol
or go into the saloon and buy drinks..haha
If you played the demo or other games similarand liked them I recomend buying it you wont be dissapointed ..Its alot of fun

singleplayer was reallly good, and actually quite long. kept going when i thought it was going to end. It was nice not being able to beat the game in one night compared to most games that are out now. And im not even talking about the side things to do thats just straight up doing the mandatory missions and playing through it all, you can figure out how the story ends if you pay close attention to the talks the main players have. i give it 10/10 and GotY hands down.

i heard this fall will be the port, just like gta 4 took 6 months or so to port over.

I guess in the excitement of playing its hard to put this game down, but why rush through it, play it like your really in it. The size and number of things to do feels similar to ES4:Oblivion. This is one of the best games Ive ever played period. Im going to milk this game for all its worth! For example...

Last night I fired up the game, and it was morning time, so whta the hell, first thing I did was read the in game newspaper. lol. I did 1 main story mission then a little side mission of breaking a horse in. Night time came around so I head back into town and a thunderstom rolled in (amazing!). I walked out of the saloon, said wtf am I doing in the rain haha, and walked back in and played poker the rest of the night, which is in first person. 1 day == 1 day hey cool. Just shows how well this game is made.

Theres more to multiplayer then free roam. Free roam is really just a 3d lobby you can play in (great design). From there you can join up and go to the standard modes. Free roam is fun though because you can can just screw around like shoot down a town/fort and just hold up and take out everything that moves. Its not as deep as everyone expected since its stripped of a lot of the townspeople npcs you see in single player, but still, its a fun way to load up the game and get to other game modes. Cruizing around with 3 others in a wagon is pretty funny since everyone can shoot out of the sides. Ive experienced both the players that want to just shoot everyone logged in as well as the guys out hunting and join up to explore the game.

I think the game is pretty cool. Slow start but now Ive been to mexico and past that into black water. The game gets really intense wih crazy twists. I thought it was gonna end like 3 times, but its still going haha its awesome! Ive had about an entire day of gameplay so far
