Whats your Occupation?

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Not to throw you under a bus or anything but I damn well know your young and still live with your parents/they buy you parts for your computer; which means you definitely dont work in Constructural design. Your a cool kid and I have no problem with you but you need to stop with the lying, you changed your name for a fresh start so why not just come clean and be honest.

A soon-to-be Marine, turned a Shipping company worker, turned a GE Aviation Pinch and Roll machinist, turned a (soon-to-be) Criminologist, and most likely going to be a Cop or work for Federal Gov't through Interns.

(I'm going to George Mason, most likely.)

22 years as a machinist of all types(CNC/Manual). Coming up on 1 year as a "Laser" technician. We use the "Laser" to melt the "Magma".

What brand of equipment do you run? We have 2 Addison-Mckee tube benders, 1 HAAS vertical milling machine and 3 BLM Group/Adige Laser tube cutters

Started out on Mori Seiki lathes. Then Okuma Mill/Lathes, then FADAL mill, then Haas and Hitachi Seiki and Fanuc Mills. Now GSI Lumonics laser drilling machines. Haas machines are quite user friendly.

I work for GE Aviation, so we pretty much have it all.

We've got around 40 CNC lathes, a bunch of HAAS and FADAL mills scattered all through the shop. Probably 35 or 40. And we've got 20 Weingarten forge presses (two are 3600 tons) and a new broach area that I don't even understand. As well as a new ECM section that cost almost as much as the rest of the shop put together.

The shop is waaay to damn big. I haven't even been in every area. Takes about 5 minutes to walk from one end to the other.

I'm really starting to look forward to college. I actually start 'real' school in a little over a month now. Criminal Justice ftw.

And I'm thinking about minoring in Russian, for the sake of helping me get a FBI/DOHS/etc. job. Anyone tried or fluent in Russian?

That's going to be a huge setback. Haha.

I tried learning French about 3 years ago and never really could understand it. Kinda makes me nervous if I should spend my hard earned money on classes such as Russian.
