Whats your pc?

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Pretty cool.
I've never got the idea behind installing lights to a case though, makes gaming/movies distracting, plus a sleek black case looks the best imo

Makes it more of a show piece imo, plus at night you can see inside of your case. It does come with an on/off switch though.

Did a few more things today. I added two more fans :). One is on the other side of the CPU heatsink, and one is in front of the northbridge, both being held on by velcro. Yes it's ghetto, but it works. The fan I'm using for the northbridge is actually the stock heatsink fan for my 965. The other fan that's on the heatsink is just a Cooler Master 120mm case fan (one of these: Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER R4-S2S-124K-GP 120mm Case Fan - Case Fans). Right now THRM is at 18*C and CPU cores are at 24*C (idling). I also used a 3-pin fan extension (sleeved it too (also sleeved the northbridge fan cable)) so I could route the sidepanel fan out of sight from the window, the window looks pretty cool now. No random wires hanging :).

I put those screws in the fan to act as a spacer between the heatsink and fan so the blades wouldn't touch.

Moved my PC to a different part of the basement yesterday, it's quite nice :). Tried my best to have tidy wires on the desktop.
Image
Hard to see it here, but there is an overhang on the ceiling there, makes music sound better since it can reflect more.
Image
Mass o' wires, that big zip tied clump is all wires for the router and ethernet.

Monitor and speaker cables:

Also changed the fan on the side panel to exhaust instead of intake. It helps a lot, if I'm gaming or folding the air coming out of there is pretty warm. I can't believe I set it up as an intake before, it just kept pushing the hot air from the GPU and NB in that one spot, so it was never really cooling down in there. Now it can take all of the hot air from the GPU heatsink and that area above the GPU.

Anyone have any opinion on the GTX260?
Thinking of buying this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

Yeah I know it's a bit expensive for what it is but I really can't be bothered building one. Bit of a jump from my AMD athlon 3500+ 1GB RAM and Geforce 6200 TC I have now. But it's served me well and I refuse to get rid completely, couldn't bare to lose it. :P

The 260 is a pretty good card, unless you want to run Crysis at max settings with great fps you should be fine with it.
