Promblem with Traxxas !!HELP!!

I have the Rustler VXL and it was running fine and then the battery went dead, so i took it out and exchanged it with my other fully charged battery. And when i turned it on and hit he gas it didnt go!! the controller was turned on and the car i was, both lights were green. And i thaguht maybe the battery was dead but the next day when i charged it did the same thing.

Make sure everything is connected and plugged in right.

my traxxas slash 2wd did the same thing i hit the gas and it doesnt move it seems like its locked up or something idk its been a while since i messed with it

Does it move a little or does it just sit there? When I first got my slash the ESC was off. It ran fine. Then I was like

thats supposed to be green? So I turned it off. Well I ran my battery really far down till the point where my truck wouldn't move. I popped on a new battery started it back up and it just crawled a few feet while it made a really loud whining noise. It could be you battery isn't fully charged (Do you use the 4-amp 45 min chargers? Thats what I used and they don't fully charge they trickle charge when they are almost done). So what I ended up doing was turning my ESC off and it worked fine again.

I sent it in to traxxas becuase they said that they would fix it for free. When i brung it to my local hobby shop the guy said that it was the ESC.

oh ok my nearest hobby shop is 2hrs away so i cant really ask them sadly but i may send it to traxxas

I don't remember how to turn it off. I know that they come with the car but I don't remember. If you you need me to take a picture of the instructions I will but I will have to find where its at. If not it should be on traxxas's website in the manuals somewhere
