Hold W+O to start, when the front foot hits the ground and the torso leans forward a bit, switch to holding Q+P. Again wait for the front foot to hit the ground and the torso to lean forward a bit, and switch to holding W+O. Keep that pattern going and the guy runs...its still an akward run but its faster than limping along on your knees lol. Just make sure you hold the keys down and not just tap them. It works
