Ruts in SX Take your time to read please!

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Ruts in SX Take your time to read please!

Post by botten144 »

Hey all of you guys, As you see the subject says itself. When you are riding SX, For the most of the time you take the outside. But if you want to take the inside it's almost impossible to get a good drive (atleast the same drave as you get on the ouside) And i know JLV is making the tracks and you have alot of other things to do, but if there ar many people who would like this maybe it would be possible to make some ruts on the inside turns atleast. If you watch some AMA SX races irl (on youtube etc) they have inside ruts. Just wonder if it was possible if there are enough people to make this happend?

And i dont want a fucking rage conversation or any angry guys just because of a suggestion. Please guys, i just want to make a good suggestion for the SX season. So tell me what you think :)

Insides will not be usable until they're usable in real life. These ARE replica sx tracks, after all. I can't remember the last SX race I saw where the inside and outside were equal times in to the next turn.

I think an inside rut would be handy from time to time, just an little rut tho.
Like you can see @0:52 in this video.

And often there are inside ruts after the finish double before they go onto the startstraight.

I would really love to empathize a stickier TRACTION and also a few ruts on insides on the tracks this year to make passing and more lines available for passing.

I agree 100% on the traction. It is pretty slick on the SX's.

So basically you two aren't very good and just want it to be easier to be competitive?

I would like to see some ruts in the faces of the jumps. Leading more riders to the chance of a crossrut up the face

There aren't very many sx's that form ruts like that, Seattle and Salt Lake normally do, but other than that the tracks usually don't have ruts.

No, that's not the case at all. I could care less if I'm competitive. I may not be the fastest guy here, but I have been playing for 3 years. After 3 years I still think the sx series tracks are too slick.

1 little petite rut on a 180 after the finish. Surly that's reasonable.

On what basis?

From what I can see the top guys in real SX often times tuck their front end and fall in the berms right at the point they are trying to turn the bike hard, and get back to the gas. I see a lot of that in the MXS SX series as well. Granted the reasons for each crash are entirely different, I feel that traction JLV has been using is great at what it does, and the limitations he has to deal with. Adding additional traction will just make us jump even more ridiculous lines.
