Nevermind, Racer X is saying both hopefully that is the truth.Hi Im Skyqe wrote:Sure seems like it is a SX only contract...
Chase Stallo: When James Stewart finally put his signature on the dotted line, putting to rest weeks of speculation, officially making him a member of Joe Gibbs Racing, JGR immediately received the star power and ready-made championship contender the team has lacked since its inception.
This deal also means a return to the AMA Pro Motocross Series for Stewart, which should satisfy the burning desire of fans and media members alike that have been salivating to see one of the fastest riders in the country make his return to the great outdoors.
The only problem that could arise for this seemingly perfect match is the fact that JGR is still running Yamahas. While the new Yamaha obviously satisfied Stewart during testing, he—along with others—were very critical of the last year’s model. At the end of the day JGR hit a grand slam with the signing of Stewart, a critical piece of the puzzle the team has been missing.

Consider the front end washed. Might as well just jump off the bike in a turn once a race.

Yeah those new YZ450F's really feel weird. The way they moved the engine just makes the front too light in corners on SX tracks.KTM57 wrote:Consider the front end washed. Might as well just jump off the bike in a turn once a race.

Re: bubba to joe gibbs racing??
JS said, when deliberating between the Suzuki and Yamaha, that there is "more of a future here." The decision was purely for the NASCAR opportunity. It's such a shame. I wish more MX stars would at least go into street bike racing or F1 or something cool. In spite of the increased pay, I think most MXers agree that NASCAR is a step backwards. However, if he's stuck with Yamaha for 3 years, hopefully he will help them develop the bike and get it right. Yamaha needs JS more than he needs them. If they want to sell any bikes next year, they need to start winning. I wanted to see him on a Suzuki, but at least this way Yamaha has a chance of winning and proving their funky back-assward bike ideas. I'll bet they are wishing they just let Husquavarnia keep that patent. No going back now.

Lol, Suzuki is the one that needs help selling bikes. Not Yamaha. Considering theres alot more Yami's on the local/amateur level now, seems like their "back-assward idea" works.Axle McOctane wrote:JS said, when deliberating between the Suzuki and Yamaha, that there is "more of a future here." I'm wondering how they thought of putting it in backwards. I could have sworn they got mechanics like me that accidentally put in the wrong way and said "It's supposed to be like that!"rideblue56 wrote:Lol, Suzuki is the one that needs help selling bikes.
