Hey I know there is alot of creative guys on this sight so I figured I would start up a thread to show off some of your skills. Post up anything, drawing,illustrations, photoshop stuff ect.
I will start by showing you guys a stock car helmet I just got done painting, I have included some work in progress pics to help you understand the process.
(all paint, no stickers on the helmet)
I am working on the same exact helmet model for another guy at the moment, you can see how ghost flames work in a painjob, lay down the white then coat with a candy red ( shows up better in person) ill post up more pics when this one is finished
No i dont have anything up, I dont have time to do alot of work so i am not interested in advertiseing untill the summer when i only have a couple of classes ( i also work a full time job). I also can not do much helmet work out of my apartment, I have a garadge about the size of a closet i work out of and cannot spray clear coat due to the fumes and my lease contract, so i have to take them to a body shop to get cleared and its expensive. Me and my feoncee are in the process of buying a house so I will be back in full swing soon.
wow u do some sick work man. to me there is nothing cooler than a custom lid. i wish more pros would run em. mc and pastrana always had the most badass lids ever.
hey thanks man, I really do wish more people ran custom lids like in the 90's (everyone had a paintjob). They really are comeing back tho, off the top of my head I know windham,reed,stewart,izzie are running custom helmets this year, hepler always had sweet helmets as well. I have noticed more amatures in motoplayground with tagger paint jobs. Problem is mx is expensive enough without paying someone 400 bucks for a paint job that you will probably screw up.
made some new "skins" for my chestprotector. Promised myself id buy a new one this year but i just dropped 350 on a leatt and another couple hundred on some new thor marker gear, so decided to make a new graphic for the front and get one more season out of the oldie.
one of the prototype "SE" chestprotector I.D. plates line I hope to have ready by summer time. (and some things in my bathroom)
