3ds max beginning

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

3ds max beginning

Hey guys! :), I started in the 3d yesterday, thant's the "little" work i've worked on 45mins maybe!

Looks nice! (To Me). Have you found or have any decent or high quality tutorials, I'm trying to learn myself but I want the best possible tutorials

you can find some tutorials on youtube, maybe with an very good quality (recent videos). if you wan't to search something you can call me! haha
and, I saw that P2sta was very talented, he knows maybe websites... :)

look on the poly count forums through other artists WIP threads and take notes of how they model certain things and how their mesh works, other artists will also give tips for their model and this is very helpful even though you are not actually modelling anything.

that looks good, altrought you need shadows, caustics and ambien occlusion, it´ll look better :)
also, try to add a hdr map, that way the objects will reflect like they where on a kitchen or whatever hdr you feel like using :)

no, jlv hasnt done one yet :(

here´s an example, altrought i dont have caustics enabled on this one :)
also, you´re doing that with mental ray?
