Just wondering what graphic cards you guys run with, and if enyone have/has tryed out the Geforce 8800/9600.
if you have, please tell me about it. is it like something i should put money on or what

I run with a XFX9600GT thats the hell lol and 8800 is kinda old but it still good,If you just want run MXS you can buy a 8600GT , since you have a good processor and over 1gb of ram you will be able to run every track without any lag

on some test's they say that 8800 is better then 9600, well i dont know if its true tho. You got like the same fps with both, 8800 is cheaper, and i think it even has better graphics, but i guess 9600 dosent take that mutch electricity (bad spelling, im tierd). well idk, if enyone has tested them, let me know!

If you are going to buy a 8800GTS maybe its a litte bit better than 9600GT on somethings but 9600 still better , if you take a look on some hard games like Farcry2 , Crysis and some others the FPS is really higher than on 8800's and yes 9600gt doesnt eat eletricity lol

GeForce 9600 GT here, with a Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor and 2 gigs of ram. I have all of the MXS settings maxxed out and the frame rate stays pretty well locked at 125FPS in every situation.

sounds awsome, im thinking of getting it. and getting 3 gigs of ram, so do you think i should buy it or look for something els?

Ive got the GTX295 but my fame rate seems to be locked in at 60?

Yomo: I had that problem with my graphics card. Its a setting in your graphics settings, called Vsync. Turn that off

4 gig ram is unnecessary, 3 gig gets on the games, 1 gig just makes the menu's on the computer faster and so on, that last gig dont helps the game att all.
but it sounds nice, i think im gonna buy it or the 9600.

Yup buy a XFX or ECS i think they are the bests! and buy the GT not GSO or shit they are wrost than 8800's
and about the unecessary ram dude , depends if you are running XP you dont need more than 3gb but if you are on Vista or at future on Windows Sevan 4gb would be the minimun , you need around 8gbs
