SUBS AND AMP
ok yall.. im getting a subwoofer and and amp for my truck for my birthday.. and i was wantin to know in yalls opinion what the best sub. and amp is out there.. my brother has a kicker L7 15 inch and it sounds good but i want to know what other people think

Really depends on the space you're working with. And how obnoxious you want your bass to be.
I prefer the clearer sound, so when I redid all my audio, I got better tweets, mids, and only went with 2 10" subs and had a custom trunk setup with 2 500 amps.
And of course I swapped out the head unit for a Clarion flip-up DVD player. I do big things lol.
As for the brand- JL Audio is by far my favorite. Amazing sound, quality, and they're really good with customer service.
I'll look to see if I can scrounge up any old pics of the trunk for ya.
Don't go with MTX..they blow. Literally.
And if you're gonna buy anything, go to http://www.crutchfield.com they have really good deals and packages.
