Hey i was at track today and my throttle stuck open AGAIN, it's the 3rd time in a row and its kicking me up the ass. I am going to sell the bike as i cant trust it anymore and it has problems, the week before that they serviced it! how can that be? the week after it still fucks up?!
UGH so err how can i get my confidence back, by selling my bike and getting a whoop ass 150 or get kicked in the as by it every week?

Well, I sure as hell wouldn't want to ride a bike that goes WFO on it's own.

How about you bring it back to the dealer and tell them it isn't fixed. And you should probably check your throttle housing wheel thing. If it is put in upside down, it will lock.

I took it back to the dealer last week, he serviced it fully for £100 and asured me it will never happen again. but er it did. he changed pretty much everything, the linkage, cable, grip. and yes it does like to go walkies on it's own.. alot.

If he promised you it won't happen again, and it did, you should go back and tell them to fix it. I'm sure they will do it for free/ reduced price since they screwed up fixing it.

yh they are a pro shop but last time i went there to get a new tyer he left out the tightening bult so if kept going flat, dumbass, his only like 17 and his dad only works the counter.

I also took it to the spares van and he loosend the throttle, he said it was too tight but now if you blow it it'll twist, i dont like it

Are you sure that it is throttle itself sticking? Does it get stuck at all if you just twist it in the garage?
If not it could be revving up due to an air leak or something similar. Try tightening the jubilee clip on the carb. I have also had a dodgey spark plug cause the bike to rev uncontrollably.

Also, I would want to get some of that £100 back as a serviced bike shouldn't have any dangerous faults such as this.

It's fine untill i open it up full throttle, which happened twice, other than that the throttle doesnt stick.

i took it to the mechanics van and he tightend a screw at the bottom, didnt quite see what it was and he also loosend up the throttle.
Aslo it's not the spark checked and cleaned it before we went.

Ahh ok, so it sticks on full when you twist it without the engine running? It does sound like the mechanism then. I would strip down the throttle body ( a quick easy job), check for any dirt or anything that looks like it could be wedging it. Then if nothing comes up, take the top off the carb (will either be a few screws or a twist cap I would think)and check the needle and slide etc to see if anything is catching in there.
Or of course you could take it back to your dealer and trust him to fix it ( I wouldn't).

ya i agree with cpt slow....clean the carb real good (slide and needle) make sure your cable is free, nothing jamming it, and make sure your throttle body is clean and free of dirt. that is about all it can be, your bike isn't possessed, and this is not a really complicated problem, just need to know where to look.
