BRACES HELP, SERIOUSLY!

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

BRACES HELP, SERIOUSLY!

Post by McLovin »

My brackets have part that are sticking up, the hooks are sticking up on every molar. The front teeth aren;t. I just noticed this today after brushing. also is it normal for them to feel tighter after brushing?

If the hooks are sticking up, you might have brushed off the bands. No idea about the tightness, I never had that problem.

Just call your orthodontist or dentist. Easy fix.

If you just got your braces, it'll feel tighter. Should go away in a couple days. But I think what is sticking up is where you put rubber bands when you get that far.

I'm calling my ortho tomorrow, I was looking at the diagrams and none of them show the things sticking up.

Did he give you any wax? If he/she did, just rub some of that where it is hurting, and that might help!

Braces hurt like a mother the first week, I was eating blended vegetable soup and still hurt. Wish they would have left my braces on for about 3 months longer, I took the responsibility of retainers and threw it away.

The one thing you can do is hope and pray to not get hit in the mouth if your wire is sticking out !! :D

That shit doesn't work. Braces really aren't that bad once you get used to having them in there. I had mine for two years. Yeah, they hurt sometimes, but after a while you get used to it and it becomes normal.

If you look closely you'll realize I posted this over the weekend. My orthodontist, however, isn't open on weekends.
