I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Take it out at make sure you put it in right and/or download the gpu drivers. You can can force your pc not to run on the ''original gpu'', just search on google.

Is your monitor plugged into the card? If it is and you can see an image your card is working fine you just have to set the GPU processor to be used over the CPU.

There is a setting in BIOS (read your motherboard manual, everyone is different) but there should be an option in their about PCI settings. Make sure you have your board set to run PCI first.

You will also want to make sure you have Catalyst Control Center, should come with any AMD driver download, and get the latest drivers and software. For nVidia I can change which processor I want to use under 3D settings. I think CCC has some similar tab calling graphics(?) maybe and should have a 3D settings there where you can change what you want to use for the GPU processes. If I'm wrong and someone with an AMD card could help please do.

Try the second one first as its easier, and if you need help through the first one find out what your motherboard is and I'll see if I can help any more. Reply back and let us know how it goes.

Ok, before we go any further I need to find out what the PC is doing. Power is plugged in to the card using the approiate power connectors from the power supply? The fans spin on start up? When the monitor cable is connected to the graphics card the monitor is working and shows the desktop? If you run dxdiag under display does your PC recognize that there is a GPU there? If all of that is a yes, are you sure you are downloading the correct drivers? The GPU comes with a CD if you are unsure.

ok i ran dxdiag and its nly showing th onboard graphics and the fans do spin on startup and there was no slot to plug in the pin connectors from the power supply so its obviously getting enough power if it worked for 2 days i just dont know why it would just stop running the pci slot because the power was disabled to it so i enabled it and im using the disc it came with so i have to be using the correct drivers
