Best graphic card?

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Getting an older card when your budget supports newer cards isn't a good way to go about it. If you want AMD get an open air cooler on an R9 or you can get a GTX760 or for slightly more get a GTX770. I'd recommend the GTX but its up to you really.

Are you only looking to use it for only gaming? Or are you looking to use photoshop, render and edit videos? If you're only looking for a card that is just mainly for gaming, then get an amd card. If you're going to be using a lot of photoshop and 3d modeling, I'd get the nvidia card because they perform much better than amd with 3d type of work and things like photoshop.

I would just get an Nvidia and call it a day. I have never bought an Nvidia card and regret the decision later.

So far I've gone gtx560, 7950, gtx770 in my rig. Go for a gtx760 4gb. Both my nvidia cards have run much cooler, don't crash, and have better features software-wise than the 7950.

That's backwards from what I know. Nvidia is known for it's gaming and speed while AMD is known for there load capabilities you would experience when rendering and 3d. At least that was what I got out of my research.
