GP Bikes Race - MONDAY! MONDAY! MONDAY!
Since everybody is on the PiBoSo train why not have a get together and play one of his games tonight.
I should be home around 8PM CST (rF time) tonight if anyone wants to join me. You'll need the GP Bikes ModBike v1.4.1 and some tracks. I think the dedicated servers I played on yesterday are setup on Albi2011 and Johor.
I'd like to organize a 600cc race at some point. I really like the 600s, they're fast but not ludicrous speed like the 1000s. In the ModBike pack they are the Triumph 675 and the R6. Get to practicing!

Can't get a single clean, fast lap yet. Just like MXS!

I sucked at finding tracks.

Re: GP Bikes Race - MONDAY! MONDAY! MONDAY!
Lot of tracks in the list are shit. Ones I've found that are rideable...
Johor
Albi2011
Assen
BrnoGP
Daytona (2 bumps that you can navigate once you find them)
Misano
Mangy cours
Sure I'm missing some or many, but I'm trying to do this off the top of my head and I am dumb.

I think that quote is enough to keep MX Bikes from ever being a threat to MXS. At least until further notice.

Re: GP Bikes Race - MONDAY! MONDAY! MONDAY!
Personally I see it being held back more by how difficult it is to mod. Right now getting a custom bike skin in the game is a real process for example. Although the developers have acknowledged both problems and their intentions to improve them.
This is just on the developer side the current community doesn't seem very willing either. I wanted to make my own leathers for GP Bikes, but then I figured out I can't have separate rider and bike skins, at the moment they're linked. So I would also need to skin my own bike or find a skin flat online. Searched the skins forum for layered templates, found an unlabeled Flat TGA file and decided to save it for another day. But those were only for the stock bikes, I wanted to skin a 600. No luck finding a template for either of those.
Guess I'll have to make an account and ask silly questions.
