So far I'm not sold. I'll play it but I have bad feelings that this is going to go all microtransactions really quick.

The gameplay is not as fun as the original. It's a damn shame.

What's the secret to the turbo starts? Can't figure it out for the life of me.

You need to pay $1 to be able to put numbers on your bike, another $1 to make your bike a reasonable colour. You can also purchase rockets.

Oh it's about the same now that I've unlocked everything. Even without micro transactions the achievements let you unlock the same stuff.

Turbo starts = different bikes. There's 7 diff bikes. Some of the slower bikes you stay neutral and then lean back. Fast bikes lean forward first. They're all different.

I can't for the life of me unlock the 6th bike. I'll put in about 50 attempts and it'll count around 20 of them.

Sorry. I start neutral but instantly lean forward with the 7th bike.
