2012 KTM SX125 won't rev out NEED HELP

Ok so a few weeks ago i was at a practice track and i warmed my bike up properly but when i was riding it, it felt as if the choke was on or it wasnt warmed up, i pulled in and made sure the petrol was on, enough petrol in the bike, choke off etc and still had the same problem, when i revved the bike in neutral it was fine but when i was actually riding it it wouldn't rev out..

Anyway we took the bike in, cleaned out the carb completely and the jets and got a new powervalve in it and a new crankshaft (We tightened the bolt too tight on the gear lever and it snapped in the crankshaft, got a easy out and it snapped in the bolt also so we had to get a new shaft).

Two weeks later we still have the same problem, bike wont rev out

Try with another CDI box. Happened to a friend once and it would only rev fine when idle.

You said you replaced the power valve, did you tighten the new one with the correct torque, because if not it might be stuck.
However as Fred said the CDI could be the problem, if you dont have the chance to get another CDI to test it, try to clean the contacts of it, sometimes water gets in there and corrodes the contacts. Also try a new spark plug if you havent tried yet, because if it just ignites for example every 3rd ignition, the motor wont rev up. What i also dont understand is that it revs up in neutral... weird :/

I would say it was tightened correctly as a professional motocross mechanic did it, ill tell him all this when im with him tomorrow night with the bike, thanks

New spark plug ?: Bad Gas could be a number of things ...Air Filter..

Like motoboss said, new sparkplug and check your air filter. You could have over-oiled it causing a rich condition (or it's overly dirty). Sounds silly, but also check the muffler packing, the bike could not have the correct amount of backpressure.

We got a new spark plug when we got the pistons changed and when i was at the track i cleared out the float and the carb, made sure everything was fine withthe air filter and made sure the breather hose on the gas cap was clear an everything.

Im thinking it could be a problem with fuel but im not sure
