I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

This morning I went to turn it on it booted part of the way up then can to the black screen with a blue Microsoft logo.
I let it sit for about an hour to see if it would do anything and all it does is stay on the screen PLEASE SOMEONE HELPPP

Never mind apparently my MB doesn't like when a USB 3 is plugged in during boot up.
Seems strange to me.

That sounds like your boot order. When booting you have a set list of what it looks to first to find its boot information, some will have HD further down the list because on first boot the HD will not have the info. I'm not sure if Windows 8 does things differently because I'd think you could just go to the BIOS but also know how stupid Windows 8 is better to follow a set of instructions.
