Thoughts on medical marijuna
In Aus it is still illegal to be giving some one hemp oil for there illness not sure in other countries what the go is. I have two family members currently using this i don't see any harm in it, the improvements that they've seen since using the oil is out standing and it baffles me to as why it is not legalised. In the oil they take out certain things such as the high and the 'addictive' side to it, sure theirs some medical term, we may not currently know the side affects but it surely can't be any worse than they disease some suffer or other prescription medicine prescribed by a doctor.
If you want a bit more of a read on it there's an article on my little cousin. http://m.coffscoastadvocate.com.au/news ... l/2376889/
Just curious on your guys opinions.

Re: Thoughts on medical marijuna
I gave up weed several years ago. With that said, I am for the legalization of it for medical reasons. Here in Idaho it is still illegal but theres always public debates on it.
My grandpa who passed away last winter was put on a prescription that had THC in it for an appetite inducer for a while, so it is being used in some form legally atleast. I think it should be available for people who ACTUALLY need it, not just because they have a sore finger. Although I dont think I would care if it was legalized for rec use. One way to get alot of money via taxes for the state and create jobs, how can that be a bad thing?

It doesn't seem very addictive at all. Less addictive than coffee or sports.

If you get addicted to it, you have to be really sensitive for anything more or less addictive and THAT really is the biggest problem. People should think about that.

Its a tough situation. Here in California you can go to a Dr. that only prescribes weed, its so easy it is comical. Its all fun and games until some 18 year old who is high out of his mind runs over your kid or something. Do I think its any worse than drinking? No not at all but they have some of the same public safety risks. One moron ruins it for the responsible users.

I don't think you guys fully understand it's not actually 'weed' so to speak, it's using the plant and extracting certain things out of it, creating an oil substance which does NOT cause a high what so ever. |
As for actually legalising weed i'm for that as well since i broke my back the only way to stop the pain other than poping endone 3x a day with still little results weed completely stops the pain and i feel 110% better i can genuinely move bend over sit down stand up with out any hassles at all.

Actually a lot of medical marijuana is straight weed, not everything is extracted.
I feel like this thread should be called thoughts on marijuana legalization, instead of thoughts on medical marijuana. Its already been proven that marijuana can help people in medical circumstances.

Do you feel better in general afterwards, or do you only feel better on the Ganja? I've never read into any of the medical side, but I definitely think it should be legalized for recreational use and medical use.stocksy129 wrote:I don't think you guys fully understand it's not actually 'weed' so to speak, it's using the plant and extracting certain things out of it, creating an oil substance which does NOT cause a high what so ever. |
