250f vs. 125

Post by Studebake »

I was wondering which you guys like better (in mxs not in real life), a 250f or a 125. I was also wondering if you think that a 250f goes faster than a 125. I rode a 125 and wasn't clearing things a can on my 250f but was getting faster lap times... so i don't know if its faster er slower...

125, like in real life. I can't ride with a 250f. Too much low end power, I'm always powersliding with those damn things.
And whatever gives you faster lap times makes you faster.

125' are just as fast imo, bu you have too be good with them in mxs and real life. real life = clutch control which i leaned from my 85 125. but i use a 250f in real life and in game :D

125's are far superior bikes, making the same amount of power at half the displacement, with half the moving parts, and a ton less weight. Sadly, they are not the best choice, as the torque of a 250f outshines the 125's screaming power. IRL, I prefer the two stroke, hands down, all the time, balls to the wall power. In this game, I use both.

Depends on the class of bike too.

With smaller displacement bikes, such as we have, 125/250f, I prefer the 250f, but when it comes to big bore, I prefer the 250 over the 450. It feels more like the kind of dirtbike I used to ride, and less like a 2000 pound PBA bull.

I normally ride a 125 in game all the time. I'm just used to it now so when I ride a 250f I always slide out and what not from the extra torque.

In mxs I ride the 125, it's just funner. irl I ride the 250f, just because the power's better, it was amazing how much power the '06 250f has over the '01 125.

the 250f is a lot faster, and you have a bigger topspeed, only some riders can't control the 250f bike.
If you ride the 125cc you rly have to push it to make some jumps so the 250f is for lazy riders who wanna go fast .
you also feel the diffrence in power when you come out of a corner, or in uphill sections.

So my answer is ... the 250f is faster then the 125cc.

125 will take some getting used to, u have to clutch alot. they are about equal in my opinion, 250 just has more low end

I'm a 4-stroke man, always will be. I ride out in the bush, and enjoy the torque of 4-strokes, especially on hills. I don't think I could ride a 125 out in the bush, I find the 250F lacking power in alot of places, couldnt imagine what it would be like on a 125.
