AKA Louis McKey and Rick Sieman.

I was just wondering what percentage of the guys here have heard of these guys. Not only are they legendary in the world of off-road riding for their prominence in the magazines, but they also stood up for the rights of the riders when no one else did. If you haven't heard of them, you owe it to yourself to learn the story of the Phantom Duck, the BLM and the Sahara Club. Does "Barstow to Vegas" ring a bell, perhaps? Yes? No?

I've only heard of them through your stories about them.

Well, I'd love to explain it all, but it's a long, long story. And I don't mean a long story in the sense that it would take me half an hour to explain. This is the kind of story so big that it takes up a good 1/4 of Super Hunky's 630-page book. All I can really do is provide a link (below) and recommend the book. Not only is it an interesting account of this little saga, but it also tells the complete (and at times unbelievably funny) story of Super Hunky, who has led an interesting life indeed. It's called "Monkey Butt!" and it's out of print at the moment, but copies can still be found.
