MX Simulator

How many of you guys ride with music in your ears? is it easy to concentrate?

I've never tried, but I can tell you that an idiot who cut me off as i was in mid air (small little single) caused us both to smack the ground once I landed.... and yes he did have ear phones in

i dont listen to music while riding because i believe it causes a distraction. When you race dirtbikes competitively, and you are playing music, you are not worried about the other riders and your own bike. If i was just trail riding, i would still rather hear my dirtbike hauling ass down some trails....

Wat u do is, u listen to a song u like like 5 times before you go ride and it will be stuck in your head.

tried it and didnt like it i didnt use head phones i mounted small speakers in my helmet and it just messed me up

only when i ride my pitbike.

thats funny because thats what i do. i dont listen to the song 5 times before i go. but usually i get a certain song in my head while i ride and it actually puts me in the zone. i have like 2 main songs that flow well with me stuck in my head while i ride

Danny, if this was a pointless thread no one would reply to it but i see people replying.

and yeh i do that sometimes listen to a certain song and then while im riding i get in the zone and start singing it haha

I do when I practice. I honestly think it helps me. I don't see how it could be a distraction unless you are skipping tracks on your ipod over triples or something. lol It's like listening to the radio in your car.

i might just try this, ill probably mount some headphones into my helmet. i do this skiing with earphones and man it is awesome!!! i forgot to say that.
its not like you have to have the ipod cranked up so you cant hear anything else. but it would have to be pretty loud to hear along with the engine of your bike...hmm

yeah yeah and sometimes ill find myself like involuntarily like almost riding to the rythym of the song.
