Other Sports We Take Part In

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Other Sports We Take Part In

Post by mxsrider96 »

So, I got bored today and Googled myself (yes I'm that in love with myself) and found something I was never informed existed. And it made me curious the kinds of things other people hold as "memorabilia of simpler times" if you will. These are pictures of me from my senior year as a swimmer and diver. I wasn't great at either, but I was decent at both and loved both so much. If I could go back, and enjoy it all again, I would.

If you search Kevin Thomas its two NFL players and a film critic. Search Pumaxcs and it's tons of shit.

I used to play floorball (big in Sweden,Finland, Switzerland and some more). When I played my team won bronze in the swedish championship and some other big cup wins. A really fun and rough sport but I quit since it stood between that and mx/enduro. I have some photos somewhere that might come up later ;)

I've played Bandy, Floorball (indoor-hockey), Swimming, Badminton and I was bowling for a while. Besides mx. Kind of tested the most.

Soccer, football and basketball were all part of my regular sports until I got Osgood-Schlatter disease https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osgood%E2 ... er_disease in both knees by 8th grade. My first sport was Baseball, at least 6 years ending with varsity. It was the only thing the doctor said I could do. I rode skateboards well into my 20's and got pretty good at ramps for my size. I never won anything in competition to show for all that until I joined a dart league in my mid-20's. lol. I roadraced bikes in '92. Then in '07 I rallycrossed and won 3rd place in stock RWD. Nothing else except beer-league softball.

I like to stand next to my mountain bike and stare at it while I'm by people with the same jersey as me

Photography might not be a sport. But don't underestimate the physical effort of running around with +5kg (if you have small lenses) in the blank sun on un-levelled terrain for an entire day. Ducking, crouching, running because you don't want to miss something, up on a hill to realize it's not even a good spot so you go down again after like 5 min.
Every year again the first few motocross races I start photographing I am having a stiff neck or back ache the day after.

But other then that I am surprised I didn't got an hearth attack yet or got weigh over 100kg's. Because since I quit athletics on the age of 13 I haven't done any (physical demanding) sports. I did some olympic shooting and snooker and stuff. Very difficult and underestimated sports, but not rly physical demanding enough to keep you in shape  .
