Hi guys, i know alot of you create video's and upload them to youtube

have any of you had youtube contact you saying you will get money for you video if you let them put advertising around the page?
They sent me the message yesterday andim just wondering if its worth doing?

Never happened to me, but I've heard that it is true that really do and depending on how many people see your video it bases your money like every person you see's your video you get 10 cents.

I'm not sure what the payout is, but I gather it can be pretty substantial if you get a decent amount of traffic. I don't think it would cost you anything except some annoying ads. If that really bothers you then you can turn them down, but personally I'd go for it. I've got 72 subscribers and my "biggest" video has 17,000 hits, for what it's worth. No one's contacted me about money, though.

My most viewed vid has something like 12,000 views, next one 6,000 and the rest are 500-2,000. I guess you have to make more popular videos more constantly to get offered a partnership.

ive also got 80 subscribers videos with 24k, 13k, 7k, 5k, and a bunch of 1k and i have never been offered anything... if only....

I don't get it, what would they do with your clip if you accept? Sounds like a dream if you just get paid for it

the video they offerd me the money from has 90,000 hits

its kinda mad because a have another video which has 840,000 hits ... but they didnt offer me it for that one lol

I uploaded the Razorback Reflex video under the name chicken377, and it has 78,000 views...
They contacted me about it but they then denied the video due to copyright reasons!

yer.. dont they delete the video straight away if they find any form of copyright infrindgement?
