In Cali for the weekend, need some suggestions

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

In Cali for the weekend, need some suggestions

Post by staydown »

I'm in Santa Clara/San Jose until Tuesday. I see alot of practice tracks around like 408 mx and Metcalf mx, but I would like to see an actual sanctioned event over the weekend. I wouldn't mind traveling an hour or two. I know there are alot of guys on here from Cali that might be able to help me out.

I don't have a bike to ride here, but I was thinking of demo'ing once of those electric dirtbikes. There is a dealership in Santa Cruz. http://www.zeromotorcycles.com/

The whole experience of riding a bike without any type of sound is kinda wierd if you ask me, but i figured it is as close as I'll get to riding while im out here.

Once you’re in the air, it’s all about the landing.

Thats what it says on the site. The thing is, when it lands.. Will it land in one peice..

just go online and check the local tracks, mind you most of the tracks are in riverside area.

You wont find any pros on open practice anymore, as most of them are staying on the west coast adapting to that dirt till the move this way again. During the West coast roads you can find them usualy on Tues/Weds doing testing before they fly out.

Racing has fallen really bad, not a lot of people race unless its a big event.
