Loss of GPU and Rear Facing Audio Out

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Loss of GPU and Rear Facing Audio Out

Post by ddmx »

What would be a possible cause for losing the gpu and sound card? The front audio ports still work, and integrated still works. I tried re-seating the components but no luck there.

On your motherboard, do you have multiple of the type of slots for the parts? Maybe try one of them in a different slot to see if they work by themselves in a different place. The sound card is an actual card right, not just on the motherboard itself?

sound card is an actual card yes and the mobo doesn't have any alternate slots for any of the componants except for an extra ram slot.

Hmmm, so both just randomly stopped working? If it's possible try using one of the cards in another computer. To me it sounds like something with the motherboard.
