I have searched but can't find any of the plugins I need for the 64-bit. I'm looking for the nvidia normal map filter and any ppm importer/exporter. I was just wondering if anyone had found 64-bit versions of them.
On a side note, I got my new computer yesterday and it is amazing to be able to play with the graphics all the way up and shaders on and still get 125 fps!!! Makes the game even more fun lol.
Thanks

As far as I know 64-bit doesn't work (and there isn't any version for it) of the Nvida normal map plug-in. Gimp has one if downloading another program doesn't bother you.

i'd suggest crazy bump, from an image can generate some outstanding normal, secular, diffuse, and all the available maps that i cant remember right now, as the name says it, it gets crazy results at one click far and some sliders

Re: 64-bit photoshop cs5
sorry4 double post but for ppm files just drag them into photoshop and it should be able to open it, as for saving it, there is a ppm option in the format list

The nvidia plugin works fine. I use it for all my normal maps.
Another option is installing X-Normal. It is a normal map making software, but it installs a normal map plugin into photoshop. It's 'normalize' button is handy.

Thanks for the help. I didn't realize there was an option to save as .ppm. Glad to know that now.

I believe i've had the best results with shadermap 1.x.x. http://shadermap.com/index.php With a single map, you can create a diffuse, normal, AO, dudv, and specular map. With the free version though you do have to do a tad bit of scripting, it's not hard though by any means. With pro they make it easier.

shadermap seems to be a nice and low cost program, might give it a check, thanks for the tip david.
