http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dell+-+XPS+ ... Id=1997242
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+Lapt ... Id=1257894
basically it´s the same processor (i7 740qm), the same amount of ram(6gb), ddr3 (doesnt specify speeds), both has 640gb on disk.
the differences
asus dell
video: ATI M. Radeon HD 5870 1gb Geforce 425m 2gb
screen: 17.3 (1600x900) 15.6 (720p)
asus: wimax and 4g
dell: 3.0 ports, blueray disc drive
also the asus is just horrible!, shit, wich one would you choose, or anyone has another suggestion on what to buy?

Check this out, it's what I did. You have all of the HP high performance laptops, then you can go in and customize it with whatever you want. For instance, I have Quad Core processing and a kickass graphics card, but the cheapest battery. This way, you can choose exactly what you want. Delivery was pretty quick to me in the US, not sure about you.

Ummm, just wondering, what is wrong with a desktop? they're cheaper and better... so you could buy a much better computer for less money... that's what i'd do=/

My lapotop has the radeon 5870 and it works great. Basically my laptop has the same specs as the asus except mine has a 1920 by 1080 screen and has blueray, but mines only a 15".
