2004 rm 125 mod

I'm looking to pick this bike up soon, but the front brakes don't work. Worst case scenario, how much would it cost?

Probaly it needs to be rebuild but that won't cost much

Not the answer you're lookin for but I'd save a bit more money and get an yz 125 (2005 or newer) instead.. but that's just my opinion..

There aren't any even close. The newst one I've seen is a 1998.

Worst case scenario, new everything (caliper, master cylinder, hose) about $250.

Why do you need me to tell you this? These prices are available for the public to see on many websites that sell OEM products. Motosport, Bike Bandit, etc.

Well aren't you like 85d? You don't even use your front brakes.

Whats so special about this bike that you have to buy it? If the front brakes don't work, how does the rest of the bike work? Define "Mod"

Hmm ok.. I dont know about buying used 'modded' bikes though, usually that means they've been rode hard and have had their best days, maybe just wait a little longer, look up some nearby dealers maybe.

v force reeds fmf pipes hinson clutch etc. Never seen me ride so your in no place to talk shit. Phathry sorry I didn't know they had it. I guuess i'm not the best mechanic

Jones makes a good point. What's so special about a bike that doesn't have working front brakes? If the front brakes weren't maintained well enough to keep the operational how well was the rest of the bike maintained?

I've boiled the brake fluid in my master cylinders in the past, but I've never had a brake failure... Food for thought.
