Whos Goin To Lorreta Lynns?

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

Sounds to me like you made this thread to brag about yourself. Just saying.

And BTW, it's Schoolboy. Did they not teach that in homeskooling?

If you put skoolboy 1 on your slip for registering for LL's, they're going to laugh at you. Don't do it.

Soooooooo........ you are going to skip the biggest race of the year to go do the smaller ones? In the C class... Yep, well on your way to the top.

That was kinda mean, sorry, but that decision really doesn't make a lot of sense.

Man, you ride at Club MX with Jace, but can't make it to LL? Why not?

I was put in a position where my Dad wanted me to race the C class for the year and get top 3 at LL. However at the beggining of the year I was on the bump list and my Dad thought there was a miscalculation of the points, due to some of the races I did and didn't race. So I was set for the C class (yes I will admit, I was a sandbagger). My Dad had submit a protest to the AMA to keep me in the C class. I raced one LL area and qualified for C. But when my dad didn't win the protest, I had to transition to the B class. It sorta killed the idea for LL because I had to transition when there were only certain qualifiers in each area remaining. I couldn't make all of the areas, I had to go back to school for work and I wasn't fast enough to make the cut. Now it is a bit different because I have gotten quite faster from where I once was before. You also have to remember that the difference from C & B is bigger and harder then people think. Its not like the top 5 in the C class are top 25 in B at LL. Its a bigger ratio then that.

My dad pulled the plug on the LL idea for these reasons:

1. Time was short for getting a LL area that worked for us. Unfortunately we didn`t find one that worked in our schedule.
2. It is expensive to throw money away, racing for a LL spot without being ready, that my family doesn`t have. Its even harder in the American economy.
3. The money that we spent on the races could be spent towards getting a 125, to be able to race Schoolboy 1. We also need special aftermarket stuff and good motors to make sure my bikes stay running at ClubMx. After all it is +100 ' F weather with/without humidity. I have two hours of riding a day and that is either motos or sections. That might not be very much but that time the bikes are running incredibly hot and they won't last.

Even though I ride with Jarek, Jace and Jesse at ClubMx, I am not as fast as them. I can run decent lap times however they will be able to punch in 2-3 seconds a lap faster. Before I used to be slower. But training here has helped me. I am starting to see major improvement from before. Now, I don't see how it couldn't be reasonable to show up to the other nationals and crack good results. LL will be on the schedule for next year, but this year I need to develop.

Our new goal is more reasonable then the LL C class idea. The new plan is to train over the summer at ClubMx and arrive at Mini O's and make good results. Before that, we thought about doing the other races to help prepare for that such as Branson, Kawi Race of Champions, Vurbmoto Classic (optional, suggested by David Bulmer) and possibly a few major Pro-Am races (ex. the Baja Brawl in MI). These races will help me prepare and test me for the Mini O's.

Hope this answers your question.

Makes sense, I guess. It's better to go to LL swinging your first time instead of showing up under prepared and shitty results, and then coming in the next year knowing that you didn't do well the previous year. Best of luck to you and your career.
