Conclusion
Tysen showed up late and rF wanted to prove they are serious with their new rules so he was unable to race the night show. He will be back next weekend, though. His BARRY Honda teammate Jones finished on the podium again, and is making a solid run at a BARRY Motorsports 1-2 in the championship. MotoOption Yamaha had a solid night, with Pinned in 4th, but after grabbing the lead early Shack dropped to 13th. Motorsport Honda's Juan was fastest in the main event, but finished 12th, and his teammate Brina came from a rough couple of first laps to finish 9th. Jeremy and Jones were the big benefactors of the night, while Brina and Shack failed to shake things up as much as they'd like with Tysen's absence from the night show. Jaden Yuki had a great race coming from 17th to finish another consecutive 6th place finish. rF Honda's Markham had a good race, taking 8th, and Assuncao also had a good night finishing 2nd.

Questions Answered
Can Tysen win back-to-back main events for the first time this season?
Actually, he showed up late and didn't even race the night show!
Will Shack find his St Louis glory and stop Tysen?
He beat Tysen by lining up, but didn't take full advantage finishing 13th.
Jeremy hasn't gotten a podium since his last victory in San Diego, can he do it in Texas?
Jeremy didn't just get on the podium, he won the main event in dominating fashion! Great job Jeremy!
Brina and Jones rivalry heats up even more in Canada, will it get even hotter in Texas?
Jones was up front most of the main event and Brina came back from a horrible start, but Jones and Shacks rivalry is starting to heat up, though.
Can Markham break the top 5?
After the halfway point it was looking likely, but finished a respectable 8th.
Honda swept the top 4 positions in the main event, will Yamaha break that dominance or will Honda continue to invade the top 5 with good finishes?
Once again Honda took up 4 out of 5 positions in the top 5, and swept the podium. Pinned was the only Yamaha in the top 5, taking 4th.
Will Juan continue to impress after getting some momentum in Toronto?
Actually he did, he was fastest in the main event but his results didn't turn out how he'd like them to.
Jaden Yuki has been qualifying well, and gained momentum in with a 6th place finish in Toronto, can he back it up with a top 5?
Jaden Yuki was fastest in qualifying, unfortunately he suffered a 17th place start but fought his way up to 6th again tonight.

3. Shack - MotoOption Yamaha - 204 points (1 win, 4 additional podiums)
4. Jones - BARRY Honda - 199 points (2nd consecutive podium)

9. Taylor - BARRY Honda - 130 points (2 podiums this season)
10. Hegge - Limited Decal - 124 points (Did not race again tonight)

New Orleans Questions
Will Tysen show up in time, and gain those points he lost in Houston?
Can Jeremy get his early season momentum from this Houston victory and carry it til Vegas?
Jones and Brina are both rapidly catching Shack for 3rd, will they continue to gain points in New Orleans?
Pinned has been having great rides ever since Daytona, can he finish in the top 5 again?
Hegge appears to be out, will anyone overtake 10th in points?
Juan continues to show crazy speed in the main events, can he put it together for a podium?
Dudu has been strong on the 250f and was even in 2nd momentarily, can he put on another strong showing?

16. Hughesy 17th - 54.921 (3) JDR/JStar Motors KTM
17. ZtReactzz 18th - 55.421 (3)
18. Ryan345 13th - 55.609 (5)
19. Warrior 14th - 55.632 (11)

Conclusion
Phathry is the man, plain and simple. I didn't get to see the last lap incident, but I think YzMxer was very close to grabbing the win on his MotoOption Yamaha 125. Robert was unable to get his 3rd straight win but was the quickest rider in the main event, but only managed to grab 5th. He now sits 37 points behind Phathry with 2 rounds remaining. T.Crain is Phathry's biggest title threat, and only finished 8th tonight. Phathry only needs to finish 12th or better in New Orleans to clinch the title before Vegas. Opening round winner McNeil, finished 8th. Peter had a great night finishing 3rd, after having a disappointing DNQ in his home country race of Canada last week.

Questions Answered
Will Phathry continue to mark his excellent consistency to a 6th consecutive podium?
Yes! And he took home the win with a thrilling main event battle.
Can Robert do a 3 peat?
No, but he again showed great speed and looks to put in a good race in New Orleans to keep this championship alive in Vegas.
T.Crain's podium streak came to an end, can he rebound with a huge win?
T.Crain struggled again and finished a disappointing 8th.
BARRY Honda's Cody Darr has failed to produce the results we all expect out of him, can he get his revenge with a podium in Houston?
He actually ran into trouble in the night show and did not make the main.
Everything's bigger in Texas, will we see a big breakout ride from someone?
I'd like to say Prodigy put in a great race, finishing 6th place in the main event. Not a huge breakout ride by him, but a good showing nonetheless.
Can I keep it on 2 wheels and grab another top 5?
I made a lot of mistakes early on, requested a restart out of pure instinct, and got booted. Tough luck, I'll be back!
Evans, Insignia, Peter, and John Wells (10th-13th in points) are separated by 8 points, leaving Houston, who will be 10th in points?
Yamaha, Honda, and KTM all stood on the podium in Toronto, unlike the 450 Honda domination, will a specific bike brand dominate the podium in Houston or will we see different brands on the podium once again?
Yamaha and Honda both shared success in Houston (Honda 1-3-4, Yamaha 2-5)

Top 10 in Points after Houston (2 rounds remaining)
1. Phathry - FAT - 152 points (3 wins, 7 consecutive podiums)
2. T.Crain - System Decal - 118 points (Failed to finish in top 5 2nd consecutive week)
3. Robert - AEO Powersports - 115 points (2 wins, 1 additional podium)
4. McNeil - MXSP Yamaha - 108 points (1 win, 1 additional podium)
5. Nicke - Limited Decal - 100 points (Continues to put in solid results)
6. Yzmxer - MotoOption Yamaha - 87 points (Almost won the main, 2nd podium of the year)
7. Darr - BARRY Honda - 70 points (Failed to make main 2nd consecutive week)
8. Evans - Privateer - 67 points (2 top 5s this season)
9. Alec - JDR/JStar Motors KTM - 67 points (1 podium this season)
10. Peters - Motorsport Honda - 62 points (1st podium of the season)

New Orleans Questions
Will Phathry finish 12th or better and clinch the championship?
T.Crain has had two bad weeks in a row, can he rebound with a win?
Robert is now fighting for 2nd in the series with T.Crain, will he have the upper hand leading in to Vegas?
Can Nicke get back into the top 5?
Yzmxer is extremely fast on his 125, can he win on it?
Will Darr make the main?
We saw Peter break the podium for the first time this year, will we see a new face on the podium in New Orleans?
Sweendoggy didn't make the main, will our favorite live stream host put it in the main?

Hooray for the slowest fast lap of either main! I guess that's to be expected qualifying 39th coming in to the night show. I'm just happy to have had the start and ride that I did in the heat. Not the best main for me, I ran like a 1:30 something somewhere in there trying to let leaders by and then jumping right off the side of the triple like an idiot. I had a lot of fun and really wasn't concerned about results, just staying out of the way, for the main. Even still, 14th is not a bad result, better than I expected once I went down off the start, I thought I wouldn't catch anyone from there.

My mistake, I thought Rene was a 55.1, so I did actually have a faster lap than someone, and a 450 no less. Woohoo.

Nice write-up Davis! Hoping I can get a win, if I don't do it this year I don't think I'll ever be able to!
