2013 AM's were no worse than the 2014 Pro's. Stormz would have killed himself if he ran SX last year, or if he was in Kellen's shoes during pro nationals. 2014 AM nationals went pretty drama free I thought.

Its funny you guys say that about ams when in the last fammx series they posted here on the forums that ams were great and had no problems with them and actually said the pros were worse. Wierd

Amateurs depends on who is running it. If you have a guy like Sween doing it, who's patient (to an extent) and has done hosting for years, it'd be ran smoothly. I don't want him to run a "Amateur AMA Motocross" series like we've seen in the past, but I think that it would be sick if he ran 4-8 "Amateur nationals" during the course of the nationals on fun tracks that aren't often used and have 15 + 1 lap motos of (for example) 125 Open B/C, 2-Stroke Open (Pro's allowed), 250 B, 450 B, and Open 4-Stroke (Pro's allowed), + maybe a 50cc for fun class, that'd be fun as hell. With the finale being "Loretta Lynn's" and honestly the qualifiers for that is confusing on Sim since nobody is really from a specific area when the servers are all online, so maybe just have Top 40 qualifying for an event like that, and it can be over the course of a 7 day timespan with the 3 moto format with multiple classes. It's been done in the past (smoothly) and can be done again, LL is a lot of fun when ran correctly and organized.

The only positive about ams is setting up a free roam cam during the arenacross series and watch all them retards case the finish on 125s

Update Bullets
  • I've picked a name (Thanks everyone for giving suggestions) - BooWap Gaming (you know...like BOooooooOOOooOOOoooWAP!)
  • I hope to incorporate both Pros and Ams into events, obviously there is a hole in MXS Racing for guys who aren't top 40 in a given class, but it is also obviously tough to accommodate hundreds of players at once
  • I don't think I'll be running TONS of big events throughout the year, so don't expect any EVERY WEEK FOR THE NEXT 3 Months! series (more like 0-2 events a month)
  • Event times will likely not work for a lot of people, because of my unique schedule (late night west coast during week events, morning & weekend events, etc)
  • Hope to run some events for some different games, even though mostly focused on MXS (iRacing, MotoGP come to mind)
  • WIll likely not be "replica" events (Keep in mind I'm still slightly involved in rF, and if I want to boost my replica event efforts, I'll do it through rF, not BooWap)
  • I will have my own rules and regulations, even if they contradict other organization rules (even rF ones, that again, I'm also affiliated with)
  • I REALLY hope to get my own dedicated server to host all BooWap events on, and make sure it always has fun tracks to play during the week.... However I want to think through a way to financially sustain that, without me personally making the payment every week...so stay tuned on that.
  • Finally, this is purely a spare time fun hobby for me, and I have NO schedule to be ready to host events... It sounds like fun and all, and as of now I'm hoping to be ready to host some small stuff this summer.....buuuut I have no problem just pushing that date out... It is entirely possible that I never even have a public site haha
  • Follow the BooWap Twitter and Facebook if you are interested in random status updates and real progress updates, including actually putting some content on those pages (currently, they naked, and I can't be bothered to make much content this weekend, as I'm prepping for a big camping trip)
