This is a bad idea, without qualifiers, you're just going to have a few good riders and a bunch of squids and nubs who happened to see the post before everyone else. Its gonna be hell when the real race starts. I would suggest finding a way to get lap times, whether it be manually or assisted. I think there should be a hour before the race dedicated to qualifying, with 30 minutes for the lites class and 30 minutes for the SX class, and from there you can take the top 40 for each class. I think this would be the easiest way.

I just think that without qualifying the race is going to be retarded
