Orignally called the Barcia line^Vellu wrote:Couple of possible fast "Trey-lines", but they seem to give cutting penalties![]()
Anyways nice track again jlv, loving specially the lack of sand section
With Trey-line I refer to a double jump over a corner; just like Canard showed in A1 lcq until they put a 2x4 in there to prevent it. So I guess it's only right to give cut penalties for using them

I hate it. JLV this is not on your track I mean by the creators of the track. you just build to scale in game. Like Jones and so many others have said very plain gonna be hard to do anything on. I consider myself a good rider especially outdoors but I cant cut 1 lap on here without crashing. Great job JLV on thre track just disappointed dirt wurx cant do any better.

The track isn't plain at all if you are willing to try and look for some creative lines. it's not hard to pass either a lot of different approaches to cetain sections give good results, you just need the balls and decent controll over the bike to pull it off. A lot of inside lines work very well on this track if you bother looking for them.woodpecka39 wrote:I hate it. Personally i think it's one of the more fun tracks so far, I thought up untill A2 that the tracks were plain, last 2 weeks it got better.

I had only done like 20 laps after I posted that but I can cut a 58 on here but thats it. I am still disapointed in it but not at JLV's work. I like the barcia lines but if you dont take them just right the track cuts you, like your time I mean.

Re: 2011 SX Series by MotoOption Rd 6 - Thursday Night Feb 10
not true. I can ride 56 lap times while staying inside the track and the track flows great, not taking the "barcia" lines. you just have to put in a little effort and maybe switch up some suspension settings to make the track flow. I agree that the track is a bit wierd if you're used to the regular AMA SX track.
But I think it's different in a good way, rather than bad.

Totally agreed. Maybe you can come ride with me on my friends server and show me those line's
I think I just need to hammerdown more room for improvement for sure.

Re: 2011 SX Series by MotoOption Rd 6 - Thursday Night Feb 10
A couple suggestions I've noticed as far as how the tracks flow. In between the whoops, or rollers when it's not an entire section, is really blunt. Also, the faces of triples seem much more abrupt than usual, as well as the finish line jump, making it more unpredictable when you hit the jump than previous tracks. I've noticed this in the last couple rounds, then you mentioned you had taken the scale down a tad, which made sense. Since I suppose you're resuing gradients when you make these tracks, how about making the takeoffs a little more smoother?

I think I'm using the same method for the triples/finish as before. 7.5 feet high, .55 slope and the roll in ends at about 3 feet high.
