DP
As far as what my friends did, I see why they got it early but idk. Not really into their actions making me look bad. I didn't give any money to Chis and I didn't get a link. You guys are funny though.
If anyone wants the link PM Peter. <3

I am in no way affiliated in the actions of JAG Army.

Look at it this way,
If you're bummed out about someone "getting the track early", go see how that works in real life.
Go to Muddy Creek during a local race, and start bitching at all the riders there about riding the track before the national.

This community is so f*cked up. I personally think its unfair that Jag got the track early. Then trying to sell it for $60 doesn't help the cause. You wonder why people complain about nothing getting released when you make people pay for it. This should be a game, not a market place.

I don't care what people choose to do with what they create. I just think its funny seeing the creator get mad at everyone when someone rips their model or gets an early access to the track without permission but on the flip side, the only way to get it is to pay $60 and everyone gets mad but the 5% that are willing to pay the money. I don't care when people get tracks early or models early or whatever.

Selling things for a game is retarded, but not as retarded as someone who paid $60 for 3 or 4 days of practice on a track. Retards all around, especially Hypochris.

Who on my team is dumb enough to pay $60 for a track that is getting released?

I do have a lot of people so the odds are pretty good. Pretty much done with this game.....

Yes because selling your hard work is "retarded", please go and tell me what is different between selling something "in real life" and "just a video game". As far as I'm concerned video games have well made it into everyday life and can make someone a lot of money. You have your youtubers, creators, and heck players in the x games now. They actually have colleges for video game development, you can't just sit here and say "it's so stooopid because it's just a game". What is sad is we pay for entertainment in our everyday lives all the time, but yet are so against paying for entertainment that is for "just a video game" that people put hours of work into.

Hypocritically enough, some of you bitching are so try hard at video games it's not even funny, I don't see why you haven't actually tried paying for the betas already. What is $60 to you when you have most likely have a $2k computer you are playing your video games on with mostly likely $100+ headset for "sick audio quality bro" and don't even get me started if you play iRacing.

Please do. iRacing is made by professionals. I think JLV is very very talented at what he does but I honestly wouldn't put him as a "professional". Tell me, how much money do you make once you are the fastest mxsim player in the game? Oh yeah, $0 (unless you count the very few that got all their prizes from last year). Once you become a "pro" in iRacing, you are making your money back. And if you become a "Pro DWC" or whatever, you are making butt loads of money if you are able to do good. The reason iRacing is able to charge so much for what they are selling is because if you dedicate yourself to it, you will be making your money back. Only if you take the time of course. With Mx Sim, you don't make any money as a "top pro" rider.

Maybe I should rephrase and clarify. Selling stuff for MXS in particular is a bad idea because the success of the game is built on free and open content creation and distribution. I understand that it's artwork and that game development is a career, but you're going to create more stink than the payday is worth when you sell stuff for this game.

Also, I find it kind of slimy to make money off of something built by JLV, and whether he cares or not, I'm sure that he's never seen a cent from the thousands of dollars in transactions made for content for his game.
