Re: 2016 rF Gaming Pro and Amateur Nationals
Looks like Race forgot to do any shading for the non shader version and this is only the first half of the track. I haven't had any problems with not running shaders on the other tracks but this week I will have to if I wanna see the ruts :/

Dodging a simple question again, nice.checkerz wrote:You're welcome.Calciferous wrote:checkerz wrote:
HAHA holy shit for fucks sake checkerz can you just tell me how long it takes to add glen helen to the website? I don't care if you don't do it for another 3 weeks or more but could you just answer a simpole fucking question rather than jumping through hoops to avoid it? If you guys are willing to make content for this game, that TONS of people rely on you for, then you should be able to answer a simple fucking question. How long does it take to add the Glen Helen links? Jsut how long Checkerz? Quit being a fucking baby for christs sake. I'm not asking for the tracks, I'm not demanding them, I just want to know.

Re: 2016 rF Gaming Pro and Amateur Nationals
lmao im not asking for WHEN the track is released, I'm simply asking how long it takes to upload the links to the website. Because apparently, doing something like that takes away from the track creators real life's and families. So, I just want to know if it's a simple 15 minute process, or if it is actually a painstaking task.MxVelocity747 wrote:Do you not understand that hes not giving an exact time cause if he misses that time youll just have something else to bitch at him about. From shit like this, you may have just made it for no one gets the track for free. Which is probably perfectly fine with them.Calciferous wrote:checkerz wrote:

^ it's just a lame excuse.
Do you honestly believe uploading a track that's already done and sealed takes much time?

It's not as simple as just putting the link on the forums. If you remember they implemented the system that locked your uid to the track. They have to disable that and for all we know that could be a lengthy process.JakeT3 wrote:^ it's just a lame excuse.

Go read the original post again and please show us where they said that the tracks were getting released a month after the race. It simply states the tracks will remain private for AT LEAST 30 days. That's all. Do you understand what the term "at least" means?skraks wrote:i will be extremely angry if you guys don't release them when u said you would after a month and if i just missed half the series for no reason.

Yes I saw this but it didn't really give us an idea of the actual time. I mean really 1 second might be "long enough to not be a priority . . . " It'd just be cool to know what all goes into the behind the scenes. I haven't made, edited, or uploaded a track before and I'm sure many of us are in the same boat and I'm sure there's at least a few of you all who have done this before.checkerz wrote:Mxracr8 wrote:Hahaha even when you don't ask for the track, you still get answers saying they don't know when you'll get it. I was also curious on the same thing because I really have no idea but was guessing it'd take like 10 minutes or something. It'd be cool to know how long all of this takes...just out of curiosity.Calciferous wrote:Can I just ask a genuine question a get a genuine reply?
How long would it actually take to just post Glen Helen to this website? How long does it take to post those links?Long enough to not be a priority versus getting Southwick out and moving forward on the rest of the series. Long enough to not take away another minute from our outside of MXS lives which are all super busy right now.
It's honestly not important to us. We will do it when we have time. You will get them eventually. We aren't setting a timeframe because we don't know and don't need any additional deadlines.

Re: 2016 rF Gaming Pro and Amateur Nationals
To me it just sounds like he doesn't care to release it, and if he doesn't care than so be it. But it creates anticipation for the people who didn't pay the $25. I can only speak for myself but I didn't pay the $25,- because I don't have time to race, so I have no problem waiting for a track or not getting it at all, but if you say it's going to be released than of course it will raise questions and people bitching.Rayvenator wrote:I honestly dont know how he could have made it any clearer than he just did.Mxracr8 wrote: Yes I saw this but it didn't really give us an idea of the actual time

Just say it's not getting released anytime soon if you know it's not instead of saying you don't know, because a "I don't know" could mean today, tomorrow or over 50 years.
