No they don't care about amateurs, and it's the mindset of amateur entitlement that makes them not care. Consider yourself lucky there is an amateur series, because the way the amateurs are talking, there won't be one next yeat

Right. Kid needs to calm down. I just hating putting in work to have it taken away by scripts messing up and stuff. That's just my opinion.

You are playing a video game not 'working'. Could things run smoother? Sure. Should you be acting as if you sold your second born child to have the ability to race this series? No. You have too high of expectations for a FREE series. Shit happens, do you honestly believe Wheels purposely had the wrong scripts run? The sense of entitlement here amazes me.

I still put in work thats all. Whels didnt purposely do it i never said that but its just the fact sometimes stupid things happen and it makes me upset even though it wasn't your guys fault. Dont't take it to heart thats all

Qualified through the heat and finished 9th after being 16th at one point around halfway into the main, I'll take it. Especially since I've put in about 4 hours of total play-time since my ban.

*Not bashing RF* ..

Now that, that's been said. i get it. its open. it means literally NOTHING. except when you cant race Thursdays due to working. their are so many kids now a days who literally cant ride in a straight line, dont have the common sense to brake if theirs riders down, or roll a rhythm section to miss down riders. completely ruin's the racing for everyone. its retarded when you're literally behind the leader and communicating with him on TS because your faster than him this week, communicating when you're gonna pass him to get your lap back because he lapped you on the first lap because people cant do any of the above. when i first started playing i stayed in 03 for a year. i never touched a race night even back when JLV ran them. the worst part is, it's these kids who do this shit now a days who are going to be the ones complaining about people doing it to them in the future. i get it, different skills, everyone started somewhere. but what the hell is the point in being in a "RF" event if you know all you're going to be is a damn land mine. this goes for pro and a class races to. where along the years did people throw common sense out the window? back in 2012-2013-2014 it wasn't this bad. its unfortunate the more this game attracts an audience the more people want to just cause chaos on the track.

Rant over...

This is true for 450 ams too. Yeah no one gives a shit about 450 ams or what I have to say, but when someone launches out of the gate and hits me because they dont know how to race pisses me off. Then I get stuck in last and have to work my way up to the top ten 3 times in one race from last because kids these days dont know how to ride in a straight line and think they can make block passes and take out my front wheel ultimately taking us both down. Ive been playing this game for 5 years and ams have never been as bad as this year. Theres no hate to RF coming from me either but maybe you could consider having a beginner class for the new kids next year or limit them to race 250 ams like you do for pro races? I dont mean to bitch but it takes the fun out of racing being too slow for pro, but being quicker than half the ams and getting kamikaze'd on the start then having to work your way up through what feels like 15 drunk drivers going 200 mph down the interstate.

Sounds like you guys are blaming (not bashing, I see that) rF for riders riding like idiots. We can only manage who rides what based on speed with the exception of pro licenses because you have to have races under your belt to prove you have earned that.

Guys who are fast enough to qualify aren't going to ride a beginner class (and shouldn't for that matter).

if I came off blaming RF for the riders in the races I came off the wrong way! It's the onest (or however you spell that word) of the players not the hosts! I get the games kinda like real life in a few ways, ones being seat time and race experience, if only we could get shock collars out when you crash you get a nice zap haha.

I'm not blaming rf for anything and I don't see how it appeared that way but whatever it doesn't matter I'm not here to argue. I was just simply suggesting having a beginner class for those new to racing. Anyone can run a fast lap, it has nothing to do with speed/qualifying. How they ride in a race doesn't determine speed of a rider. And I see your point, if they can run a lap to qualify for a race then they won't run that class and if you can't/don't think it's necessary to limit the goons then that's fine. All I'm trying to say is cleaner racing = better and more enjoyable racing. Okay I'm done ranting and am gonna duck out of this thread now. Thanks for the hard work every week, Checkerz and the rest of the rf crew.

How about adjusting the qualifying format to be something along the lines of average lap time over 6 laps?

While that would help, Nick, you can't fix stupid.
