Re: 2011 SX Series by MotoOption Rd 17- Thursday Night May 5
The demos are up.
Having watched the demo, I think everyone who was accusing Fjeldberg69 of being a bad lapper was out of line. First off, he did move over for Phat in the rhythm after the tunnel. Passing him might have thrown Phat off his regular line and made him lose it, but that's not Fjeldberg's fault. Then in the next incident (exiting the alley), he was only down because #88 fell in front of him. There's no way you can blame him for that. As far as I could tell, Fjeldberg69 was trying his best to stay out of the way while being taken out again and again by #88. It just goes to show that you should watch the replay before you call anyone out.
Each of the top three riders had worse incidents with lappers -
On lap 8, #239 went all the way across the whoops and took out Barry.
On lap 9, #88 took out Juan while jumping back onto the track before the finish.
On lap 11, Shack took out Jeremy before the whoops while down a lap.
I'm not trying to put anyone down here, I'm just saying those were all worse than anything Fjeldberg did.
As far as the rest of the race, Barry was riding smoooth! Nice job Barry!

Re: 2011 SX Series by MotoOption Rd 17- Thursday Night May 5
Results on main page are wrong. Yzed 4th, me 5th.
Like I said last night, my crashes were my fault. The first one I was literally shaking my head at the dude pulling onto the track just in front of me. I also saw him, later in the race, own Darr by doing the same exact thing. These sort of things drive me nuts. The second one with 69 I didn't see him until it was too late due to the shadows. He was 3rd on the start, and being lapped on lap 3, and you think I was frustrated! This is where our opinions are going to vary Josh.... I watched the race from 69's perspective. I saw him and 88 come together a few times, yes, I also saw him enter the track in a dangerous manner several times, hold up leaders for laps at a time, and just generally be in the way. I don't see how cross jumping in a section in front of a leader that's been trying to lap you for almost an entire lap can be viewed as trying your best to get out of the way. But hey, different strokes for different folks.
He was complaining that everyone was taking him out during the race, if you watch closely, you'll see that when you stop in the middle of every corner you're probably going to get hit in every corner, this is what 69 was doing.
Don't get me wrong, he has every right to race the event, and qualified for the race fair and square. However, after watching him almost never pull over for a lapping rider, and yet complaining of being taken out in the chat after the race it makes me think the best course of action for me to handle this is to bounce my head off of my desk a few times. Sadly, my chair sits too low and my desk has a really square edge and I'm already fairly ugly and don't want to add to it, so instead you get this post.
On a positive note, 69 did make JLV look fast!
Like I said earlier in the week, thanks 1,000,000x over for doing this each and every week. We're some of the luckiest gamers on the planet to have such a wise old man at the helm of this ship!

I just watched the demo and I COULD be wrong but wasn't it? First page says Jeremy got 2nd Juan 3rd? (Doesn't show me cuts in demos but if Jeremy went from 7th to 2nd I'd be amazed)
1. Me
2.Juan
3. Yzed
4. Phathry
5. Adhk
6. Shack?

Not that it changes anything but Yzed deserves some credit for being the fastest 125 rider every week. Next year maybe he'll get a 4-stroke and start getting some wins! Come to the dark side!!!!
