Awesome season overall. Main events went really well for me, got a 1st, two 2nds, and my worst finish being a 3rd. I feel like there are issues to be addressed though. My results prove that when I make the main event I do really well, and thats just because if you get a bad start you have 15 laps to work your way to the front. Toronto and East Rutherford I was pretty much last in both those main events and worked my way to win one of them and get a podium the other one. I feel like the issue in 250's is that the hardest thing to do is make the main event. I swear winning a main event is easier than making it into the actual main. It seems like it was the normal for really fast people and championship contenders to miss the main event or almost miss the main event. In 450's its better because they have semi's aswell as heats so they have more chances, but I dont know if I can pinpoint one thing that causes it. To make the main event I feel like its 60% start, 39% luck and 1% skill if im being honest. I'm probably just sour because I missed the main event so many times, but all of the times I missed the main event was either bad luck, people punting me etc or just plain getting a bad start. I also dont want to blame the tracks but I feel like they also played a factor in this. If you get a bad start you're screwed because its extremely hard to pass on these 2016 supercross tracks, you almost HAVE to get dirty to make a pass, and then people bitch and cry about it.
I don't know what could be done to fix this, but I know a lot of the people I talk to agree with me. In main events you can get away with a bad start, even though its 100x easier to win if you get a holeshot or something, its still possible to come back from a bad start in main events because there is 15 or 20 laps for the good guys to make their way to the front, and that same amount of time for the not so good guys to fall back or crash out. In heats and LCQ's there isnt enough laps for this to happen and spodes with good starts make the main event and then people capable of winning the main events who get terrible starts dont even make the main. I think we may have to alter it from how it is in real life because in mxs the start means so much more then in real life with these short races. Its get a good start or dont make main, simple as that. We could possibly have semi's for 250's? or maybe just do it gp style and run two 15 lap qualifiers or something previous to race night. We could have scripts automate that? Whatever we do we need to change something because I dont think how they do it in real life works in mxs at all.
Im just mad so take it as you want, but I was really unsatisfied with how difficult it was to make it into the main event, and on top of that to make it even more frustrating I podiumed every main event i made, so I expect myself to be up there and when you dont make the main because of unlucky bullshit out of my control, or just getting a terrible start its frustrating.
Congrats to Tyler on the championship in 250e. See Kellen? The OG's can still win against the aliens

Also shoutout to Burkin for the Versus-PC triple crown win, was so intense to watch, I also heard you have a potato of a pc so there ya go hahaha
Congrats to Tysen on the 450 championship, once again another OG wins it!
And finally, Seabolt, stop sandbagging pro dude not cool. hahaha congrats on the 250w championship man
Also shoutout to my boy Holyak winning the East/West shootout, that idiot barely played the track straight outta a ban, he pretty much gave up on ever getting a main event win and he ends up winning the most prestigious 250 supercross race of the year! Funny because hes been telling me how hes been saving up for a gtx 960, well now ya got one for free hahaha.
Honestly, cannot fucking wait for outdoors where I have 30 whole minutes to make my way to the front, and 30 whole minutes for the goons to filter out of the front of the field. Not trying to be rude to those people, I myself am quite shit at outdoors, but it honestly is so much better racing. So many more lines, so many places to pass people, and people actually place where they place based on skill level and not complete luck and start. Curious to see whos up front at round 1! Bring on outdoors
