Got two good starts, threw the first one away and over jumped the big tripple (fail). Started 2nd the 2nd moto and ended up getting some points. First pro rF national was i would say a success in the fact that i got points! Good racing guys, its fun not playing demolition derby like in supercross!

Sick race! First ever national and first rF race on a 450. Not completely stoked about my finish but pretty satisfied.

So the rf website says that the am race starts at 9 eastern tonight. is that correct? If so why a whole hour later than pro?

Sorry if I ruined any races in the first moto before I just quit. My ISP is a massive piece of shit. Seems like it always gets bad for races :(.

There is a link to the Am series on the home page right now. You can also find it from the event overview page.

Pretty fun racing last night. Had a guy try to cut me off up the big hill - expected more out of him on his home track, but I guess it's OK. 17-12 is a pretty solid result for me.

Did a speed check for funsies. I took two points on the start straight and right before the double up Mt. St. Helens and took exactly a second using the skip feature when paused. Then used a gradient to see how far the distance was between those two points, using that I figured out how fast the rider was moving. Done on a 2013 KX450f with -1 1 gearing.

Up Mt. St. Helens: 71.99ft/s = 49.08mph = 78.99kmh

Start Straight: 93.13ft/s = 63.49mph = 102.18kmh

To be honest I was expecting a little more out of the start straight, still pretty fast though.

That's pretty awesome. You should do it on the way down into the U turn under the bridge.
