Looks like Yamaha stopped homologating its YZ250 after 2010. Also, I would have thought that KTM would homologate its 2-strokes

I'll have it next week!!!! Come race again! hahaDJ99X wrote:Whilst fast 450 riders are dropping down to the 250 East class, you have 250 West riders jumping up to the 450 class.warrior462 wrote:Just making observations. Is it not true that allowing fast guys to drop down will allow slower guys into the 450 main? It's very simple logic, but you guys continue to do your thing, like I said, I'm done with SX, I'll see you outdoors.
I knew I shouldn't have raced that main. I haven't played all that much lately, so I was really inconsistent. I don't know how I got through the LCQ tbh.
I got really good starts in the heat and lcq. I got a good jump in the main as well, but I pulled to the inside way too much. I would have gotten stuffed in that berm no matter what though.
And damn it Sween, way to not have my skin.

I think people need to learn to differentiate between fact and opinion. I have an opinion, which I stated, and everyone got all in a tizzy like I was saying "I'm right and you're wrong". Of course, you then go and act like I'm trying to make it all about me, when honestly I'm just thinking of what's best for the community. I really feel it would be best to keep the 450 class as competitive as possible, while allowing newer guys to get some experience in the 250 class. One fact that some people seem to want to dispute, at least as far as the AMA is concerned, is that the 250 class is a support class meant to get new guys experience in the sport. Otherwise there would be no force out rule. It is not wrong to have, or voice, an opinion. Especially when it can be backed with at least some kind of reasoning. That said, you're opposing opinions are exactly as valid as mine, since I'm sure you have your own reasoning to back them up. In fact, rF's opinions are more valid than mine because they are the ones running the series and I truly do appreciate the work they put in for the community. Opinions, by their very nature, can not be right or wrong. Please keep that in mind when people speak them and understand that even if you may disagree, they have their reasoning. I did not mean or expect there to be such a backlash from a simple opinion, even though I knew there were at least a select few who would disagree. Hopefully we can do a better job keeping the peace and respecting opinions, treating them as just that, in the future. Oh, and I'm still waiting for an apology from stormz after the heat race, only explanation is mistaken identity, and it was really uncool.

I got killed in the first corner in my heat and the lcq. Got way too nervous in the heat otherwise i probably could have regrouped and got a transfer. So i know what i have to work on for next week and hopefully i can avoid the carnage and stay clean. Big props to my teammate Alec though! 2nd in lcq, then 5th in the main. Good way to start the series! Bring on round 8!

I definitely think the lites class riders in the 450 class should run their 250f's if they are more consistent on them. Last thing we need are a bunch of fast but out of control riders on the track. (not saying I'm not out of control)

In all honesty my comment wasnt really directed towards you but the fact that I like the racing system the way it is right now. However that being said I think we do need some kind pro-am night so that there isnt quite so many people trying for the sx and sx lites night shows.warrior462 wrote:I think people need to learn to differentiate between fact and opinion. Same here! 12th on the night isn't cutting it after riding so good early and having a good heat race. Definitely aiming for a top 5 next week. It'll be hard though because in Dallas a lot of top guys had issues.Insignia wrote:Great racing. Looking forward to a better than 15th place finish.

OMG I never knew what an opinion was thanks for letting me know. Can I now define a debate for you? If my opinion differs from yours, I will give you a reason why I think that you are wrong..."I'm right and your wrong" That's how a debate works......Next topic, competition.....after that we'll have a lesson in "There is always someone better" and we'll end with a lesson in trolling....warrior462 wrote:I think people need to learn to differentiate between fact and opinion. Sween, I don't know what more I could possibly do to make you see I'm not arguing. I told you your opinion holds more water than mine, and I thanked you and rF yet again for what you do. I got my ass handed to me in Dallas, and expected nothing less after getting my ass handed to me in qualifying. Never before have I said that I am, or should be, the best. I had no intentions of really competing in the lites east series, was hoping I might make a few mains with the limited practice I had. I wasn't even going to do it at all until I finished Unadilla earlier than expected.

Re: Round 7 - MotoOption MXS SX Series presented by Vurbmoto
I think the real lesson here is we need a second series running during SX that has A/B/C classes to allow more guys a chance to compete at the front.
I'm sure you've all seen some of the previews for King of the Compound. More details to come, but it is coming soon and looks to include A/B/C divisions.
Warrior, would you consider yourself an A or B rider? Didn't you ride the Pro class at LRS last year? So wouldn't you be sandbagging too if we held the Lites class as a "B class"?
And Warrior, not really arguing, just debating - atleast from me.
