WI qualifying would be sick and I would be down to help out any way I can if it were possible.
I agree. Would be amazing. But wouldnt blame sween, wheels or whoever else for not wanting to be around to run all that for 17 weeks.

If you are going to do limited qualifying, you should also have certain times to qualify for everyone, if not then what if the only time you can get on to qualify the server is loaded and you cant get a fast lap. May sound dumb but idk how to put what im trying to day. Also, will ams race the same day as pro?

WI style qualifying would suck for us guys in the UK.

Hell, the fact it is a sunday means it's going to be a little difficult for me to qualify anyway, but we shall see ;)

Well, WI qualifier is maybe fun, but its very long, like Jon said, for euros it would be horrible.

Now, as an admin and a player, i would never do that, events are already damn long.

I don't know how many times I've put in laps the night before the race and be sitting 6th or something then check back right before the race after being at work all day or something and be 45th....

It's just stupid when people that don't do anything but play the track for 3 days straight, become masters at the track. Then there are other people that play maybe 5-10 races total each week that are better/smarter racers that don't get in because they have very little track time.

DDavis, you are the stats master. Pull up WI results and compare them with SX results. I bet they are super similar.
I just like WI style because qualifying is almost an event in itself.

Tryharding definitely helps, but when you think about it the fastest guys always finish up front no matter if they tryharded or not.

This.

WI or something that is very limited is the only way to go.

There is no pros and so many cons about try hard hot lapping.

I can't see WI style working all that good with the amount of people that are gonna sign up, last year there was 68 450 and 49 250 who signed up for A1
I can't see Sween or Wheels wanting to sit there and run that. Releasing the track 24 hours before is the only limited Qual i could see that works for everyone

I still would like to see a good amount of ama moved up to pro. No matter if "they can't run my pace" while the person saying that is a top 3 rider. Not everyone's a top 3 rider. If 10 250 ams and 10 450 and were moved up it would be a lot more interesting to qualify. Boring as hell when there are 45 laps ran. Make it harder to where there are more people trying for those 40 spots. Get some new races challenging for national numbers.

Yeah but then the ams that play non stop for 3 days and can only get 1 fast lap a race, get the fast lap to qualify but can't run that lap for 8 laps straight. The thing that makes Tysen so fast is that, not only is he running laps close to his qualifying lap, but he runs that lap 19 out of 20 laps. It will just be way to big of a goon fest imo.
