Quick review
Jesse Mullins took a dominating victory at the opening round at Avalon Brush, but followed it up with a lackluster performance at the following round at Rhythm Valley where he finished 8th place after leading early on the first lap. Taking advantage of this was Barry/Fly Racing rider Kellen Brauer, who has used two consistent finishes to take the points lead coming into the final round, however the final round will return to Avalon Brush where Mullins took the win at the opening round. Tyler Crain sits 3rd in the points but hasn't finished on the podium, but he's leading the Open 2-Stroke points standings over MotoXAddicts rider Devin Davis, who's also put in two consistent finishes. Multi-time Regional SX Champion Jeremy Smith proved that he can also win in the enduro series after dominating the second round at Rhythm Valley, but it's unknown if he'll return to the final round to try and claim back-to-back victories, although not being mathematically out of the championship, he will not come home with another #1 plate after losing so many points at the opening round. Tony Spinelli has put in consistent rides on his Honda 250 2-Stroke, and sits 3rd in the Open 2-Stroke points with a strong chance at winning the title if Crain or Davis struggle at the final round. Matt Burkeen is known to be extremely consistent, and has put in two solid results at both rounds to put himself in position to grab a top 5 overall in the points standings. At both rounds we've seen impressive results put in by riders such as Benny Landry at Avalon Brush (6th), Jack Fowler (8th), and Gavin Richards at Rhythm Valley (12th). Come join us at the final round this upcoming Sunday at Avalon Brush for the final round, and remember it's 45 min + 1 lap, rather than 35 min + 1 lap, so be prepared to go the extra mile! This series has been a lot of fun and I'm hoping to continue it this summer, hopefully with more tracks to be added along! (Hey track makers, there's your hint!)
