FFMX Fun Race

We are very excited to announce our first ever race on Mx Simulator, it will be Thursday, November 5th, at 10pm EST, and sign ups are on MXS Lobby. The server is my own, it will be online as much as possible, but don't be alarmed if it is offline for a few hours or so. If you have any questions just ask.

We did not expect such a big turn out for this race, which is why we only did one class, open for both pro and amateur riders. Seeing how many people have signed up, we will separate pro and ams for the next event. We also may add separate classes for lites bikes and heavys. We will continue to do fun races, and would like to begin a series sometime in the future. And as we are going to try and make everything run as smoothly as possible Thursday night, be mindful that this is our first race ever being host on mx simulator, and there may be some hiccups throughout the process.

We have decided that because of such a big amount of people signing up, we will run the race like this:

Top 44 qualify.
Top 22 race their own set of two motos, 15 minutes + 2 laps.
Qualifiers 23rd through 44th, will run their own set of two motos, 15 minutes + 2 laps.
Top 22 will be considered "A Class", while the 23rd through 44th will be considered "B Class".

The B Class may not have a full 22 riders on the line, but will at least allow more people to race. People who do not show up, will allow others to take their spot, for example, if 22nd qualifier does not show, 23rd qualifier will be moved into "A Class" motos.

If you have any questions or concerns let us know! We are trying to make this the best we can for everyone, and are looking into running more races in the future after this. We accept any new ideas or a better way to do things if our way is not working well.

Thanks for everyone who participated tonight, it was a bit rough to start off with, the server was a bit laggy which was because we were not using an official server and it went off of our own internet. We will most likely be purchasing a server for future races, to fix the server lag. And in the future, we will announce when a race is about to begin.

Thanks for hosting, the few hiccups weren't too bad for your guys' first time hosting a race. Looking forward to the next one!
