Make sure it always lines up with the tires of the rider. Shadows will never be apart from the object, I don't even think it's possible in any scenario? If so, that's weird.

The only scenario would be if the rider isn't touching the ground

That is true, thanks Sonny. For some reason I couldn't think of anything because the rider is on the ground in that picture.
Yeah, for the most realism possible, you always want to make sure that any part of the bike/rider that is touching the ground is touching the rider. So if you're doing a wheely, the back fire would be connected to the shadow, the front tire wouldn't be. No problem Devin
