Track of the Week #26 - Thursday Feb 5 - ZION 2026 PRIVATEER CONNECTION SM

Post by jlv »

This is the "Track of the Week" series where we have casual races on a new track every week. If you're a newbie or just not that fast, this series is meant for you. Fast guys are welcome but since this is for casual players don't get mad if some squid on a 125 gets in your way!

This week we're riding the supermoto track from ZION 2026 Privateer Connection Compound.

Entry fee: FREE!
Registration: None! Just show up!
Bike class: Open!
Time: Thursday February 5, 2026 9:00 PM EST
Server: elsinore.mxsimulator.com:19805
Track link: ZION 2026 Privateer Connection Compound

The track is running on elsinore.mxsimulator.com:19805 now. Planning on doing 3 motos, 10 laps per moto.

(Bump?) for relevance. Again, do these make a tangible difference?

I couldn't tell if the wheels make a difference in handling during the short time I was lost out there! Do these extra gates(47-63) on the dirt need to be hit in order to time a lap? I now know the paved path at least, based on the placement of the timing gates.I'm just a tourist at this point. More than I ever was! Same as it ever was?

I forgot to check the gates file. All is well in my land of confusion. Thanks Seth! Stroke of genius from JLV this week! Never thought I'd need to spot my ruts on pavement, but they act like bluegroove would on pavement anyway. Right? Got pretty humbled tonight in 19805. Had a pickup race or two with Seth and quite a few others.

An easy way to know you didn't miss a gate is if you set time trial record. It won't register if you missed a gate.

And the wheels are just cosmetic.

I did time a trial today while tryharding for Thursday. Seth said he looked at the gate file and assured me of the order, which I had forgotten to do. The wheel set is gorgeous, nonetheless!
