MXS-championship.com NEW FORMAT???

So Nybrok (my new right hand) and me will organise a new championship. But we have different ideas of the race format. So I will ask you guys before... I will update the site and I promise race will be week by week.


So ... we will make MX1 and MX2 class...

IDEA 1

First round will be only one class. Then we make the classes due to results... good riders MX1, "not so good" riders MX2... after the series top 2 of MX2 go to MX1 and last 2 of MX1 go to MX2.

IDEA 2

People can decide what class they want to race. MX1 = 4 stroke MX2 = 2 stroke

So you would be forced on either a 4 stroke or a 2 stroke in the first idea? I'd rather have the second idea so you can choose what you want, plus the first idea would have sandbaggers like DJ said.

I think in first IDEA ppl can choose what they want... but i will find an IDEA which every1 likes... but not easy i guess

I prefer the first idea.
But for example, pinnedtowin doesn't practice for the first race and ride bad on purpose so he would be sure about a title in the mx2.
That needs a rule.
If you're to good for the MX2 class you will be promoted. But with to good I mean finishing every time first and with 30 seconds lead and stuff .

Otherwise you can use the format of riding in heats for qualification for the final heat. But the problem is you don't have 2servers anymore eh? So that would take some time.

Anyway, whatever you chose, ppl will keep complaining and it will be difficult to organize. But good luck with it and I hope you'll organize it anyway . I always liked your race's.

OOOOooor. you do a short qualfying session before each race, the fast riders go into mx1, figting for points 25-50 and the slower guys goes to mx2, fighting for points 0-24(or whatever points you want)

And all of these points adds to ONE championship.

ok, this is how they solve it here in some races.

idea 1 and who goes in mx2 and then have 2 winnings MUST ride in mx1.

irl we got mx2a, b and c when c is the slowest, when you win the c or b class for the 2nd time you must go in the class thats higher.

I just like how sweendoggy is organising these things. MX1 is 250 and MX2 125. And believe me the faster guys will take MX1 cause they want to have a fast bike. At least thats what i seen happening at the mxson, most of the fast riders chose MX1.

That's what I thought he meant by MX1 and MX2, 125's and 250's... Is that what he meant or does he mean whatever bike in a "A" and "B/C/D" class? Should be by speed not bike, I don't want to ride a 250.

Idea 1 is about the speed of riders

Idea 2 is just the bike...

but idk idea 1 can be only about speed of riders or speed of riders and then slower riders have to race with 2 strokes in mx2 class...

I like the idea of A/B/C class. Not 125's and 250's. I dont want to be forced to race a 125 or a 250.

My opinion is, riders has to register for the championship, with this form:

Class: (mx1 or mx2)
Number:
Name:

if the rider wants to change the class in middle of the championship,he can but not with out sib's permission.

I like the Idea 2, I don't think skill should come into it, I believe you should be allowed to ride the preferred bike and have them so its fair. E.g. you ride 125 againat 250's, you're stuffed. I like racing 125's, but not against 250's. Do Idea 2, In my opinion.

You can beat 250s on a 125, just have to be careful of line choice, and pin it everywhere...
