.dae preview photoshop

Post by lovell131 »

If some one can help me on this subject that would be awesome.

I have a model that was created in solidworks which I have exported as an .obj file, opened in photoshop and then exported as a .dae file, and placed within the mesh folder. I would like to make a skin for it, i have researched quite a bit but I do not know much about the UV map and norm so i figured i would ask. I do not currently need this for MXS but only to preview the model with graphic skin within photoshop. How do I find/export/create the UV map and norm files for a model??

Stoked to see all that you can do within the MXS, I used to play and create skins for MCM2. Excited to get back at it and be able to create models now.

Thank you!
